Michael brought much good to children in need all over the world through his philanthropy. One of the world's greatest humanitarians Michael Jackson was an example to us all in life and now in death. Michael devoted a great deal of his life to helping all children in need including the terminally ill. Michael gave a great deal of time and money too many children's charities during his life as well as leaving one fifth of his assets to children charities in his will per the Associated Press. He loved children and took time when touring to secretly visit sick children.
Neverland was built with the passion to give sick and terminally ill children a place to enjoy their childhood. Michael had special rooms built to accommodate the children to stay over so they could have an opportunity to enjoy childhood, and for a moment not think of only there illnesses. The 2000 edition of The Guinness Book Of World Records listed Michael Jackson breaking the world record for "Most Charities Supported By a Pop Star" At that time 39 Charities were listed.
